AUGUST 30, 2020
Baptized believers sent into God's world to share God's love and grace.

We are looking forward to gathering together for worship! TLC will begin in-person worship services on August 30.
The council has reviewed guidance provided by the CDC, the 'Considerations for Returning to In-Person Worship' document provided by the ELCA and state proclamations.
Please know that your health and safety is of the utmost concern and the priority
as we welcome you back into the church building.
Please be prepared to observe the following accommodations to gather together safely:
  • Physical distancing (6-feet) will be requested between family units
  • A squirt of hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance.
  • Face masks (coverings) will be required for all in attendance.  Face masks and a few face shields will be available in the entryway.
  • Markings have been placed on the floor, in the sanctuary and throughout the building to aid in physical distancing, traffic-flow and disinfecting; please respect the boundaries and signage.
  • Printed bulletins will be provided.  Pew pads, hymnals and communion folders have all been removed to streamline cleaning.  At the end of the service, please take a bulletin home or place in the trash bin by the ushers' table.
  • Attendees will be ushered in starting at the front of the sanctuary.  Please be flexible and prepared to sit with your family unit in an available pew as directed.
  • We will not be singing during the service.
  • Sharing of the peace will be different than usual.
  • Communion will not be distributed initially and until we are ready to implement best practices.
  • Offerings may be left in the basket on the ushers' table.
  • Attendance will be documented to aid in contact tracing if an attendee tests positive.
  • If you have a temperature or feel ill, please refrain from attending worship.
We understand this is an ever-changing situation. The accommodations will be reviewed periodically, and any changes will be communicated as soon as possible. Please watch the website, Facebook and e-mail or call the office for updates.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the church office or a member of the executive committee.

We look to God for the wisdom to care for one another in this "new normal" time and look to God's timeless Word as our comfort and strength, sharing  first of all the invitation of Philippians 4:4-8
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
Let your gentleness be known to everyone.  The Lord is near.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of  which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable,
if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
